An Idea

So I haven't posted for a while. Truth be told, I haven't thought of much to blog about. I'm so used to twittering that I struggle to think of a blog that's longer than 140 characters. Anyway, I have an idea...

The iPhone has revolutionised the way we interact with the internet, allowing us to blog, upload photos (and occasionally make the odd phone call) from anywhere in the world. The camera isn't bad but, let's be honest, there's no way it even compares to even an entry level SLR.

However, I'd like my iPhone to do something it can't currently do. When I'm out and about I often take my SLR with me, but there just isn't a gadget which plugs my iPhone in to to my canon SLR. Said gadget would allow me not only to access but also to edit (PS Express free app) and upload my photos. Why, you ask, can this not wait until I get back to my 'proper' computer? Well the internet is instant. Twitter is instant. My iPhone is always with me, and so I now always have a way of accessing the internet wherever I go. Sure, when I get back to the house I can fire up Photoshop and somehow make my photos a little better, but wouldn't it be better if it was just instant?

There used to be an apple gadget which transferred photos from a camera straight onto an iPod classic. This was a bit rubbish and so never really took off. There are instant backup things which you can spend hundreds of pounds on... but I'm not a professional photographer.

Anyway, that's my idea. I'd love it if an engineer from Canon or Apple stumbled across this and made it happen, but I'm not holding out much hope. Surely I can't be the only person who has thought of this?
